We’re a family of four travelling on the Sunshine Coast, and our experience at this apartment was a nightmare. The soundproofing was virtually non-existent. It felt as though the windows weren’t even there as you could clearly hear every passing vehicle, people chatting as they walked by, and even neighbouring guests using their bathrooms in the middle of the night. We booked five nights and were assigned Apartment 1, which is the very first unit from the property entrance and directly exposed to the busy main road. The noise from traffic didn’t settle until after midnight each night, and the disturbance was enough to wake both me, my wife and my mom every single night. What’s even more frustrating is that we booked months in advance with a free cancellation policy and specifically requested a quiet apartment. If we had simply been informed that our request couldn’t be met, we would have happily cancelled and booked elsewhere. Instead, we received no response at all, which led us to believe our request had been accepted. We chose this property based on the appealing photos posted online. However, the images are misleading and deceptive. The apartment we received was far from what was advertised. It’s in serious need of refurbishment again, and several chattels were in poor, even embarrassing condition：1. Kitchen knife crudely “repaired” with duct tape 2. Broken tongs 3. Extremely wobbly dining 4. Mismatched plates and bowls 5. Table lamp with a cracked shade and oversized bulb, making it unusably bright 6. One downlight that was out in the twin bedroom 7. Toilet seat cover with visible yellow stain 8. Staircase and upstair carpet worn and emitting an unpleasant odour 9. Window frame that shakes when you walk near it. This apartment is listed as a “deluxe” option on 訂房網站 with one of the highest rates in the complex. There is absolutely nothing deluxe about it. When we raised our concerns with the manager, we were told that the building is strata-titled and each unit is owned individually, so the standard depends on the owner’s upkeep. But if that’s the case, why are all the units grouped under the same category? That’s misleading. We’ve stayed in many strata-title accommodations on both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. In fact, just last time, we stayed at their next door neighbour Munna Beach Apartments, and the experience was outstanding. We chose this property because it looked more appealing online, but clearly, that was a mistake. It seems the booking website displays a mix of photos of all apartments under the same category/tier, some nicely renovated, others not, but you won’t know which one you’re getting until you arrive. When I raised our concerns to the relief manager, she admitted nothing could be done due to school holiday availability. All she could offer was a replacement for the broken tongs. At one point, the manager on duty suggested we should have booked directly with them to avoid disappointment. If that’s true, then why listing on third party platforms in the first place? We left a clear request for a quiet apartment during the booking process, and yet we were assigned possibly the noisiest unit on site. Just before arriving here, we stayed 7 nights at a Gold Coast property, also booked via a third party platform, and it was a seamless, enjoyable experience. That contrast made our time here even more disappointing.

Excellent location, lovely apartment, and great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

The location is prime. Close proximity to beautiful beaches like the photo attached. Our second time here and will definitely visit again. Great value!
